The highlights in the historic center tell us about the high and low culture in the Ancient Ages, Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque.
At the top of the Spanish Steps (Trinità dei Monti) we have a beautiful view over the city. We descend and walk through the most famous shopping street, hear about the daily life of the artists who lived here in the 17th century. We see the Trevi Fountain and visit the Pantheon. We drink the best cappuccino in Rome and admire three famous paintings by Caravaggio. We hear about the timekeeping of the ancient Romans, their gods and building techniques. We see the Piazza Navona, Piazza Farnese, Jewish Quarter, Capitol and we taste some typical local delicacy at the Campo de’ Fiori.

Art-historical and historical information, as well as anecdotes, images, legends, and the daily life of pilgrims and popes, artists, courtiers, scoundrels and heretics in their surroundings and buildings.
